Chocolate for Breakfast? YES! 🍫

Your Weekend Brunch Covered...In Chocolate and Cherries

We pulled it off. We've taken an already great classic and made it even better by stuffing it with chocolate then calling it breakfast. Introducing our Chocolate Stuffed French Toast. On top of that (literally) we poured over warm sweet cherries, so it's *healthy* too 😉. It turns into a fluffy, melty, sweet, tart, and wonderfully indulgent brunch that you'll definitely want to serve up this weekend.

Seriously it's an insanely good dish, and it's absolutely mom-approved just in time for Mother's Day (at least, our mom loves it!). So whether you're celebrating your mom, family, or yourself this weekend, you're now set with a super impressive and delicious meal.

Here's why you'll love it:

  • Simple, easy-to-find ingredients.
  • Doesn't require any special equipment.
  • Beginner-friendly with clear steps.
  • Easily customized with different chocolate or fruit.
  • Super, super impressive. But for real. Just look at it! Even when the plate gets messy (don't you want to eat this??):

A few tips to make it really easy:

  • Use a full bread loaf rather than pre-sliced so you can control the thickness of the slices.
  • Cut a pocket or slit into the top of each slice.
  • Use chocolate bars (we like Ghirardelli here), so it's easy to slide one square into each pocket.
  • Use frozen fruit for the compote and make it first so it has time to sit and stew while you prep the French toast.

Other dishes for Mother's Day (or for anytime you want something special):
